Commercial Director (m/f/d) Europe

 We are looking for a Commercial Director (m/f/d) Europe for our location in Cologne (permanent position).

 

YOUR TASKS:

  • Liaise closely with creative, merchandising, B2C, and operations teams to ensure consistency of sales experience and appropriate pricing
  • Lead, develop and inspire a growing regional sales organization as well as regionally dispersed sales representatives
  • Develop and deliver a sales road map for Europe
  • Establish and implement sales plans and P&L for all major accounts
  • Build profile, volume, distribution and profit in line with strategic objectives
  • Implement European A commercial SEGMENTATION strategy BY channels by account
  • Coordinate all existing and future shop-in-shop activities
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key buyers focusing on key accounts
  • Raise the profile of the brand by maximizing opportunities with all key accounts
  • Manage sales forecasting reporting while reviewing regularly to ensure all targets are met
  • Develop key accounts, new opportunities and dealer relationships – build out 5 year growth plans
  • Develop and implement sales policies and programs, lead European sales meetings, pricing, sales strategy and forecasting
  • Ensure sales teams are well trained

YOUR PROFILE:

  • An exceptional leader who has led dispersed sales teams in Europe
  • Extensive experience of B2C sales and B2B wholesale in the brand and lifestyle sector
  • Preferably, also has experience in relevant industries (IE apparel, footwear, accessories, and cosmetics sales)
  • Established relationships at a senior level with key European retailers and buyers and has the capacity to leverage an extensive network to increase distribution and enhance brand image among customers and consumers
  • Must be energetic, ambitious, driven, and independent
  • Comfortable being a self-starter with a reasonably small highly dispersed team, a flat structure, and the freedom to operate independently within an assigned strategic direction
  • Confident leader with a firm and goal oriented leadership style
  • Motivates, trains, and engages others highly skilled at building relationships with individuals and groups
  • Fluent German and English are essential
